I pieced this Spring Door quilt last February and finally got to quilt it. I love the way it turned out..

This quilt is quite beautiful! Quilts are quite special because you can use cloth or fabrics that contain good memories. When I gave birth to my first baby, my mother's gift to her grandchild was quilt that she made. The material she used were fabrics she painstakingly saved from my own childhood. There was my baby blanket, my girlhood comforter, the uniform I wore when I was cheerleader. I still have that quilt kept lovingly in my armoire. Someday it will be taken out again when I have my first grandchild.
